Suburban Studios Albuquerque Uptown

My partner, friend and I stayed here as we were attending the balloon fiesta. I get that places are gonna be a little bit higher than normal during this time. However, this place smelled like smoke, it was very rundown, there appeared to be people living there, and were outside smoking on folding chairs, so it didn’t feel very safe when we were away. I will say that the front desk staff was very friendly. We paid **** a night and I wouldn’t pay **** to stay at this place.

Liked: it is a good location for the gig we went too and the receptionist was so lovely

Disliked: it could have been a bit cleaner but it is what it is

Liked: The location and quietness

Disliked: Beds were rather high for my wife.

Liked: The room was just ok.

Disliked: The parking lot, was tight even for our small vehicle. Didn’t feel safe.

Liked: It had a kitchenette; the most important feature for my needs. The bed was also super comfy! The staff was generally helpful throughout the stay

Disliked: There were TV issues that required staff to look at it 3 times. The staff was generally always helpful and friendly Also, this is an Extended Stay facility, so some people have previously stayed there. As such, much of the furniture was burned, stained, or chipped. The actual cleanliness of the room was good, however, and I felt comfortable staying there. As a side note, Iwould stay there again, if needed. It is the most affordable option for a reason and it was NOT a bad stay.

Disliked: The kithen counters and bathroom sink are chipped and in very bad repair.

Liked: Love this and awesome employee were so friendly
