I think they didn't change the bedsheets pillow cover because it's have unpleasant smell. Toilet also not so clean and smeeling. For parking we need to park at private parking rm12 per night.

Good Hotel With Nice River View

This has been by far the most unpleasant hotel experiences I’ve had. I booked this hotel for a one-night stay as I was attending a wedding dinner in Melaka and driving down from Selangor. The hotel is located along the Melaka River, near Jonker Street. Upon arrival, Waze directed me to the hotel, but I found myself on the opposite side of the river. After calling the hotel to enquire about parking, I was informed about the weekend road closures, which meant that parking was unavailable in the area, and guests had to park elsewhere and walk across. Having just attended a wedding dinner, I had to walk for another 10 minutes at past 11pm to reach the hotel. Distance wasn’t really the biggest problem. What was disappointing was that the hotel did not inform guests about these road closures beforehand. The receptionist explained that Agoda had not provided my contact number, but…is this not something the hotel should have made an effort to communicate? The next surprise was breakfast. My Agoda booking clearly advertised “VERY GOOD BREAKFAST”, but I was informed that the hotel had stopped serving breakfast since COVID and had yet to resume the service. When I asked whether breakfast was included in the amount I had paid, the receptionist confidently clarified that they only charged for the room. The room itself was surprisingly spacious and generally clean, which was one of the few positives. However, the live band along the river continued playing until 1am. Although the music was reasonably pleasant, it was certainly not ideal for guests hoping to get some rest. To make matters worse, I was woken up at around 3–4am by mosquito bites and struggled to fall asleep again due to the constant itching. Overall, a rather disappointing experience, especially considering the lack of communication regarding parking and breakfast, as well as the disturbance throughout the night.

The room was alrite only and had a balcony facing the river. As usual, the tv had only 4 channels with local programmes and nothing else. Bathroom nothing to shout about and parking is beside the old Police headquarters at RM10.00 a day.
