Sunny and Charming Suite next to MIA

Liked: Everything

Disliked: Probably the ac, there were two days that due to the extreme heat that there was not working well

Liked: Location & price compared to hotels in Miami

Disliked: The room was in poor condition. Crumbling walls, not maintained. The place had ZERO drapes to close out light & sound yet was next to the street with bright lights and noise from the stadium. The room had nowhere to sit except a single wooden dining room chair. The head of the bed was up against a window sill so you couldn't even sit up in bed. No coffee & tea makers in the room as advertised. I had to go downstairs and rummage in the kitchen to find things to use. Looked like all of the entire kitchen supplies were found on the last day at a garage sale - all was dirty. I had to wash them myself. Nothing clean. Two levels: if you need accessible property, the property is not designed for you. There are stairs to get up to the front of the property as well as two floors inside, with one flight of narrow stairs. I would suggest that the owners tell people the property is on the corner and the exterior now has a wall surrounding it, w a small iron gate. It looks nothing like the pictures on Booking.com. The only redeeming positives: The host did send immediate communication and replies to everything we wrote BEFORE check-in; The facility was easily accessible after hours.

Liked: Really nice and homey

Liked: The room was spacious enough for two people. Bathroom was cute and clean. I enjoyed the porch and sitting during the day.

Liked: It was an ok property

Disliked: There was ants all in my room I wrote the property manger about it and no answer. You could hear everything outside. The towel hold fell on its on. This is a shared facility and it doesn’t mention it

Liked: The bedroom & shower we had was nice.

Disliked: This booking is not clear that it is a shared house. It was a surprise when we received our welcome message to find this out. Especially with the price that we paid, we did not expect to have to clean up after other people and the poor quality of our stay. The house was leaking, so many fruit flies, plus having to deal with the messes of other people & clean up after them. House is very old with windows that have cracks to outside & provide no insulation. Received 3 towels for a 4 night stay for 2 people. House is extremely hot. Can’t communicate with housekeeping as she doesn’t speak any english. When making an attempt to communicate, looked annoyed that i was making an attempt and tried to shut me down. Low quality pans and burners. I had it on low & the heat was definitely high. There’s also people living in a camper in the backyard? It was not clear if the drinking water was for guests so we had to use tap water until we bought water bottles. Overall, not impressed for spending almost $1k for 4 nights 2 miles away from downtown…
