SUNRISE Hotel HA TIEN

1/ The bedding is new, but it needs to be replaced when new guests arrive, as no one can stand the body odor of others, so it is important to pay attention to changing it.!? 2/ Material facilities: still new, ok Location: ok 3/ Not comfortable with the room quality: there is a smell; the bathroom and toilet get very dirty when the water splashes everywhere. 4/ Service: quite good 5/ The price is a bit high compared to the quality offered to customers.

We 6 of us stayed here couple months ago, just now I plan on booking for another trip then realized that I forgot to give the staffs, facilities, service a thumb up, also walking distance to night market. I’d stay here again if I return to Ha Tien.

Pros: The hotel was close to the night market and many restaurants. Staff were nice and friendly. Pool is large and has a great view. Cons: There were NO breakfast buffet even though they assured us that they do have breakfast buffet at the time of booking and on the evening of check in (Wednesday). They said, “breakfast buffet is 0600-0900.” Imagine our surprise and disappointment when we got to the dining room and they said no buffet. Apparently they only serve breakfast buffet on the weekends. Ok, no big deal. They gave us a menu with 6 items to order from; however, 1 item was not available. Do NOT order the omelet- it was bland and too buttery. Order the grilled pork - that was the best dish on the menu. Saturday morning we came down with excitement for the breakfast buffet, but nope. They told us that they only serve breakfast buffet when they have at least 40 guests in the hotel and they currently only had 30. Pool: the pool closes at 7pm. Per the staff, there isn’t anyone to “watch the pool after 7pm.” However, there was never anyone at the pool to “watch” the area. Also, there is a ledge that’s hard to see in the middle of the pool to separate the shallow end from the deep end. A couple of us got hurt because we tripped over the ledge. There should be a sign to warn guests of the ledge. Room: we had a room with a balcony and they should really weather stripped the door. We could hear the wind howling all night when it’s windy out. Shower: it takes a long time for the water to heat up and they should really put up a sign to remove the drain cover because you can’t tell it’s a drain cover and the water will start to back up and flood the bathroom.

Liked: The rooftop pool is great.

Liked: Lovely clean quiet and spacious hotel, with a fabulous rooftop pool. We loved the location, just a few minutes walk from the night market, and a fun electric tuktuk ride from the main town area.

It would be nice ìf hotel had more occupants so they could turn on air conditioning in the hallways and lobby and serve breakfast buffet instead of just a couple choices for breakfast.
