“Pathetic unsafe experience”

I booked this stay for 1 night through Agoda after seeing the reviews and photos. The room that was offered for that price was not the same as the photos at all. It was a tiny room with no space to walk around. Worst of all, The room COULD NOT BE LOCKED from the inside!! And I was a solo female traveller. The bathroom was so tiny you could barely stand in it and the wash basin was the size of a mug, tucked away in an non-accessible corner behind the commode. The other room options were ones that did not have an attached bathroom and you had to step out of your room to access a common bathroom! After arguing with the caretaker,, especially about my concern that the room could not be locked, He returned my money in cash. There was no reception space of even chairs to sit down at the parking area. This discussion happened at the doorstep of the caretaker's messy room on the ground floor. I immediately took my money, booked a last minute alternative at a slightly higher price and left even before my local contact could arrive before it felt so disgusting to wait at such a place that shamelessly lies and doesn't even offer basic safety.
