“A Great Value Stay in the Heart of Istanbul: Hotel Taksim Star Bosporus”
I recently stayed at Hotel Taksim Star Bosporus and was pleasantly surprised. Despite the abundance of negative reviews online, my personal experience was overwhelmingly positive, largely due to the unbeatable location and excellent value for money. The Room & Amenities: The room was spacious enough, very neat, and clean. A standout feature was the small attached sitting area inside the room, which was perfect for relaxing. The room came well-equipped with a desk and chair, an under-counter fridge, a TV with a good choice of channels, and a kettle with coffee and tea supplies included—a lovely touch for a morning brew. The air conditioning worked well, and hot water was readily available. Everything I needed for a comfortable night's stay was provided. Check-in & Service: One minor hiccup: I arrived at 12 PM, but the room wasn't ready, so I had to wait until 2 PM to check in. This is fairly standard for hotel check-in times, so it wasn't a major issue, but it's worth noting if you plan to arrive early. Ground Floor & Facilities: The ground floor offers some excellent conveniences. There is an Indian-Pakistani restaurant on-site, which is great for a quick meal. More notably, there is a money exchange counter right there. It's incredibly convenient—one side opens to the main road, while the other connects to the reception area inside. I found the exchange rates to be pretty good, saving me a trip to a separate bureau. Location: 10/10 This is where the hotel truly shines. It is located just meters away from Taksim Square, the tourist hub of Istanbul. It's incredibly easy to catch the metro or an airport bus, and yellow taxis are available 24/7 in the area. Location-wise, this hotel scores a perfect 10/10. Value for Money: For just €41 for one night, I was more than happy with the value for money, the room amenities, and the excellent location. If you are not fussy about luxury frills and prioritize a clean, functional room in a prime location, this hotel won't disappoint you. Overall Verdict: Don't let the negative reviews scare you off. If you manage your expectations, Hotel Taksim Star Bosporus is a fantastic, budget-friendly base for exploring Istanbul.

“Beware: You Get What You Pay For”
The hotel is run-down, does not have baggage service as they claim because bags are left unsafely unattended, and there is nobody to help you with your luggage when you arrive. The AC in the room did not work and the staff was less than helpful. One employee was very helpful but he does not work there full-time. Don't let the low price fool you.

“Good location and value for mony.”
Overall good based on price. Breakfast very good. Room is small and AC remote not working but after complaing they arranged. Some time elevator not working. Room are clean. Room inside cofee, tea and kettal facility is good. Staff good.
