Disliked: Not much parking at the Hotel. Woke me up at 10 PM for my Keys.. to move my scooter 🛵 into the lobby

“Okay hotel, terrible location”
Liked: The hotel was basic but comfortable. Great shower, which is a plus for us in Vietnam, where many hotels have bathtubs (difficult for us due to mobility problems).
Disliked: The area where the hotel was located has clearly been recently redeveloped. The old markets have been razed and replaced by a raft of low-cost hotels (like this one) plus a fake, uninteresting night market. Aside from the night market restaurants which are mostly outdoor and seafood, there are very few food options. Having heard great things about Ha Tien's atmosphere, we were really disappointed and left after one night.

“Acceptable”
Disliked: Booked 2 king rooms with balconies then tried to put us in double rooms that didn't even have windows, then wanted to charge an extra 600 thousand for the rooms that were booked. Still didn't get rooms with balconies but king rooms with windows, mind you we were the only 4 people in the hotel all other rooms empty

“Acceptable”
Liked: It was ok. Staff spoke no English,and my Vietnamese is non existent. Very basic,but ok. We needed to get across the border. Found an hotel around the corner. Met a member of staff,that arranged transport to the border,and when we walked across the border. The bus was there waiting for us.
Disliked: It was in a very quiet part of ha Tien.. nothing there except a market. One thing that must be mentioned. There is dt6a lot of stuff online about Andy,at oasis bar,who will sort everything for you to cross the border. Andy's oasis bar no longer exists. Unable to find any info of what happened. But the hotel we found, sorted it.

“Very good”
Liked: A pleasant clean hotel. Large room (make sure you ask for a room with windows!) Rented scooters from hotel without any problems.
Disliked: The hotel only takes cash, which wasn't noted in the booking and as it was Tet, it was really difficult to find a functioning ATM. It's right next to the night market, which means loud music until midnight, so not so suitable if you want an early night.
