“Decent and amazing value for money but not perfect and not even really even close to perfect”
Liked: It was cheap, not terrible, the location, not perfect, but only 30 minutes bus ride from the city centre and probably perfect for those wishing to attend a match at the Anfield football stadium
Disliked: One of the bathroom walls had a stain on it. The shower had literally nowhere to put your soap bar or your bottles of shampoo and hair conditioner. The lights at either of the sides of the bed that allowed you to turn the light on and off without having to get out of bed in my mother's room worked perfectly fine, but neither of the ones in my room worked at all. The towel racks, coat hangers, and door handles weren't affixed to the walls/doors properly, so they wiggled a lot and made it almost impossible to use the deadbolt on the door. You have to ask the receptionist for the hair dryer even though if you get back late you don't want to sleep on your pillows with wet hair and if you're going out first thing in the morning, which you have to because they provide no breakfast, you don't want to go out in the cold, wet weather with wet hair otherwise you will become ill, so the only reasons not to ask for the hair dryer is if it's a hot summer, you're bald, or you are only staying for one night and foregoing the shower so why make the guests have to ask for a hair dryer instead of leaving one in their room like every other hotel including hotels in hot climates like in Portgual? The sink in the bathroom is tiny. They don't clean your room or empty your bins during your stay, only before and after your stay, and you have to go to reception to get more toilet paper, which isn't always manned, so good luck with that. The rooms have no air conditioning so best to stay elsewhere if it's summer. The bathroom has no heating, so you're freezing when you get out of the shower and you're wet until you sprint to your heated main room.
