“Worth the location and legacy”

very old hotel, but i guess thats the point of Ashok.. cant believe its a 70 year old hotel still holding on to its legacy, the rooms are decent definitely would need renovation, but no complaints as such, the price was a little i thought, but the staff were co operative and excellent, food was ok, not bad i would go back again.

“ASHOK HOTEL is a grand site which can become an excellent 5 star hotel if refurbished and is maintained properly. Needs”

Disliked: needs refurbishment of plumbing, interiors. need improvements of the maintenance. staff should be more lively. porters and service staff always expressing to get tips after providing a single service, be it bringing a key from reception. this is bothersome.

“Not worth the money”

The kettle was broken, the room was not very clean, there was a used bandage in the bed. The welcome fruits in the room were rotten. They need to upgrade the amenities like tv, fixtures in the room for the money they are charging. It’s not worth at all.
