This is an apartment building with a very good location — it's fairly close to the bars, beach, pier and shopping. The complex has strict management and ample space, so it's safe and quiet. Best of all is the 31st-floor pool: the water is good, it isn't too crowded, and you can see the beach and coastline. The room is fully equipped — stove, microwave, fridge, etc. — though there are some signs of use and it's a bit dated. I don't mind, since for the price it's already very good.

There was a cockroach in the room. Finding a cockroach is one thing, but what is completely unacceptable is that I reported it to the owner, the housekeeper, and Agoda, and received no meaningful response or assistance from anyone. I was completely ignored. Because of this incident, I was unable to sleep for the rest of the night. The only person who actually helped me was my friend — not the people responsible for this property. Unfortunately, the cockroach was not the only problem. The room is old, poorly maintained, and far below an acceptable standard. The curtains were torn, the furniture looked worn out, and the overall condition felt neglected. The shower never provided proper hot water. No matter how long I waited, only lukewarm water came out. The washing machine was also extremely old and looked like it should have been replaced years ago. What makes this even more disappointing is that the building itself is actually beautiful. However, this particular unit is poorly maintained and does not reflect the quality that was advertised. This was one of the most disappointing accommodations I have stayed in. I cannot recommend this room. The lack of maintenance and the complete absence of support when a serious issue occurred made this a very unpleasant experience.

Simple, cheap and secure. I intended to stay for 1 night, and stayed for 5. Not hotel level service, no laundry, but good value for money

Better suited for couples than for families with young children, since there are few facilities for kids—just a swimming pool and you have to walk to the beach. The room is quite small but equipped with everything you need: plates, bowls, glasses, a fridge, and a washing machine. Most guests here are foreigners, but overall it’s okay and good value for the price.

The room we got was quite dirty — the bathroom even had fecal stains on the toilet bowl. The sink had yellow stains, as if it hadn’t been cleaned with detergent. They also didn’t inform us that parking fees must be paid separately at the security booth. The handover of the key was unprofessional. Before check-in time, a housekeeper came and knocked on the door at about 11:30.

Good stay at the base Pattaya, the best location and good to see a condo ✅ pool 🏊‍♀️ is very nice 👍🏽 and everything fine at this room.

The Base is two towers of condos in Pattaya. You’re renting a privately owned condo of a Chinese company. The room was fine. However the key pickup is dodgy and you need 2000 deposit which was returned promptly on check out. BE AWARE THIS IS AN EXTREMELY BUSY PLACE WITH LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE COMING AND GOING ALL THE TIME!! Pattaya has become overly busy and a constant traffic jam. I won’t be returning anytime soon Thailand has much better places!
