The Burgess Hotel, Atlanta, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Liked: Rooms were good. Bar and restaurant were excellent.

Disliked: Parking is expensive for self parking in open lot and is extra. AC unit leaked water on floor. Street noise was noticeable. Breakfast is not included and limited options are very expensive.

Liked: The rooms are gorgeous! The restaurant was delicious and the staff was incredible.

Liked: The staff was kind and helpful. The lobby and bar decor were beautiful and created a lovely relaxing atmosphere.

Disliked: The hotel is definitely overpriced. This is an older hotel that has been renovated. The rooms were nothing special (on par with any decent chain hotel with slightly better decor). The air conditioner in our room was never able to get the temperature below 70. I was really expecting more for 350$ a night. Couple that with the exorbitant prices at the in house restaurant, and one night in a mediocre room with a forgettable dinner cost over 700$.

Liked: This was a boutique hotel with a great bar and surrounding lounge area. It was perfect for a gathering of about 12. The rooms were nice and clean, and the location was excellent. We had a dinner reservation for Hal's, and decided to walk when we realized how close it was. It was super convenient. The staff were extremely helpful upon check-in as well as friendly throughout our stay

Disliked: It seemed a little pricey for just an overnight stay. Parking was an additional $30

Liked: Very cute, cozy areas in the lobby for groups to hang out.

Liked: Bar and restaurant

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: It’s an old Hampton inn remolded so still not worth the value

Liked: the location, the room was ok.. Not too much to like.

Disliked: There was very poor lighting in the rooms. Couldn't see well at all. There was only 1 tiny wastebasket---and it was in the bathroom. There was 1 bottle of water--even though there were 2 adults in the room. The Keurig was broken, so we couldn't have a cup of coffee. Upon arriving, the person at the desk was prickly and not very helpful or user-friendlly. He SHOULD have been so. It was a fairly-expensive--not middle or low-end hotel, things should have been better than they were. Will not likely return to this hotel; it was a disappointing stay, and shouldn't have been.
