The Cabins at East Austin Hotel

Liked: Especially for shared bathrooms, everything was really well cleaned and organized. Sinks with enough space to actually put a bag down, shower sandals and towels and robes included, and centrally located on the floor. The bar and restaurant were both good and I received a voucher for $10 that covered my breakfast.

Disliked: I thought it was really expensive for what it was, but I found out after I was hear that it was ACL so that may be why.

I was looking for a budget alternative for my 5-day stay in Austin. This spot was well reviewed and a decent price. Not the cheapest option but far better reviewed than the lower priced options and much less expensive than most. The room was clean and comfortable. I didn’t mind the shared bathrooms. Hotel staff and housekeepers were courteous and friendly. I would recommend if you’re looking for a budget option.

Liked: Everything was great, and very convenient. The restaurant Brunch was delicious, The rooftop bar excellent, and walking distance to restaurants and bars. The cabin I stayed in had a great view of the city, very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were very nice and welcoming.

Liked: Relaxed East Austin stay with great service and a chill atmosphere I really enjoyed my stay at The East Austin Hotel. The location has a great, laid-back East Austin vibe, and the hotel itself feels relaxed, casual, and unpretentious. It was a nice change from a more traditional hotel experience. The manager was particularly helpful and accommodating, and I really appreciated the quality of service and willingness to work with me during my stay. That personal touch made a difference. Thank you! I also didn't mind the shared bathrooms at all. During my stay the hotel was relatively quiet, so they were convenient and clean. I could see this being a different experience during a much busier period, but it wasn't an issue for me. It was over 100 degrees and the AC worked perfectly plus refrigerator. The location was near new condos and a lot of great amenities: pilates, yoga, juice bars, Whole Foods, Target and right next to the 4 bus line to downtown a few stops away. This will be my go to in the future for business travel in Austin.

Disliked: My only minor criticism is that the room had a somewhat musty smell which could be due to the air conditioning, which I think could be improved with some maintenance. Otherwise, I really liked the relaxed atmosphere and character of the property and would consider staying here again.

I love coming and staying in the cabins it’s always clean and nice and smell good the view up top to the pool was wonderful and the bed nice and soft and cozy I’d recommend for sure every time even the staff was super nice. Thank you guys for a wonderful stay
