The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore

It felt like home… I would give the stay a perfect 5 stars, however; it isn’t possible to AirPlay YouTube, Netflix, or any other streaming services.

Liked: The location and Staff 10/10

Disliked: It was perfect no negatives

Liked: wonderful staff ( indian and chinese staf) from check in to in room dining to check in staff

Disliked: got food poisoning eating roadt chicken rice and watery butternut soup for dinner. suffered 12 hours of diarhea and stomach cramps which foiled a business meeting for me.

Liked: It was beautiful and very luxurious.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Room is large and well equipped. The WiFi works reliably with good speed. The breakfast is excellent. The staff was quite attentive and gave me very good service. The location is just across the street from Raffles City

Disliked: The walk from lobby to the room can be long.

Liked: Great location. Incredibly kind and helpful staff.

Disliked: Unfortunately this has been by far the most disappointing hotel experience I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the property had a persistent musty smell that raised serious concerns about the condition of the building. The rooms were no better either with visible signs of mold and an unpleasant smell as soon as we walked in. On top of that every time we used the shower or sink, a terrible smell came from the drains. The staff moved us to another room the following day, despite the hotel being fully booked for our entire stay. Unfortunately, the second room was no better than the first, with the same underlying issues (but without mold In the AC vents) For a hotel claiming to be 5 star, these conditions are simply unacceptable. The mold issues, unpleasant odors, poor cleanliness, and obvious lack of maintenance fall far below even basic hospitality standards, let alone those expected of a property that must be maintained and conserved. This experience fell well short of expectations, and I would not recommend this hotel unless these fundamental issues are properly addressed. Regardless, props to the staff for being particularly the only thing we enjoyed.

Liked: Beautiful large and comfortable room. Staff was very accomodating with early check-in.

Disliked: No issues

Service is good. Room is clean n bed is very comfortable. Highly recommend for travellers with sufficient budget.
