“Wonderful location, just not up to standard.”
Liked: The location is wonderful and this hotel could be fantastic. The suite was spacious and we were suprised at having 2 bathrooms. Nice to have the balcony and the fridge, tea and coffee facilities were good. The bar was lovely, great views and comfortable. The staff in the bar were great, not swift, but friendly. We ate there the first night, pricey but lovely food.
Disliked: Many of the facilities were definitely not 5*.. The decor in the room was tired, the bathrooms had mouldy grout and rust. The complimentary bathroom stuff was ghastly, very 80s, strong smell..! Take your own. It was still warm for September but no sheet on the bed just the heavy duvet.. too hot!! The balcony was filthy, black mould, peeling furniture. The door to the balcony was ridiculously heavy. We were kept awake all the first night as the 3 people next door were having a party, loud music shouting and illegal substances... Reported next morning we were expecting more than a half hearted apology. The breakfast was weird, every morning we were challenged about our right to be there. The was no proper customer service, no explanation about what you had to order, ask for or help yourself to. For 5* I would expect to be shown to a table, asked what we wanted to drink and have either a teapot or cafetiere. You tried to attract someone`s attention and if you were lucky, coffee or tea like dishwater.

“Terrible service and staff”
Would not trust this hotel with your card details as they think it’s normal to charge your charge without any pre authorisation. Then when you dispute it the staff want to argue with you, absolutely disgusting staff, no where near a 5 star standard

Liked: The rooms are huge and the beds are so comfy! Staff are amazing especially the lovely Ukrainian lady on reception….wonderfully professional and super friendly. Just amazingn

“Awful”
Disliked: There was a rat running in the terrace and in the restaurant when we were trying to drink our cocktails. They gave us so calles "free vouchers for drinks" but it turned out to be only for a beer or wine. No one had informed and we had to lay Gbp 22,- for a cocktail. Beds were dirty and they charged Gbp 85,- for 1 day parking without informing at check in! Pure robbery.

“Lovely location for Chelsea break”
Great location and large room. Just a little dated and tired in the rooms. Breakfast - small selection and not worth the money. Plenty of places close by which are nicer. Comfortable stay and lovely room with a balcony looking onto the harbour
