The Clan Hotel Singapore by Far East Hospitality

I booked this hotel due to an event that I needed to attend in the area. The room has a modern design with amenities and conveniently located near shops and restaurants.

One of the best hotels i've stayed in. Clean, Luxurious and comfortable rooms. Check in and check out eas seamless. Will definitely be back.

Was really, really impressed with my stay at Clan hotel. The check-in and check-out process was so fast and seamless, and the staff were super friendly and attentive to your needs. Room was incredible — clean and cozy with a breathtaking view. Can’t wait to book a next visit soon.:) Love the breakfast buffet as well!

Liked: Location was close to Chinatown, ideal for cheaper dining and drinking options as well as souvenir hunting if that's what you want. Room was very nice, comfortable with cool interior design & decor. Shower was great. Room safe very well designed and located in a drawer so you don't forgot to lock it before leaving the room. Very well thought out feature. Didn't dine in at this hotel so can't comment on the food offerings. Close to MRT station across the road and local coffee shops for morning coffee and eats if needed. Staff very professional and helpful.

Disliked: That I didn't get to use the pool, too many things I wanted to do in Singapore that I had no time left.

The room is extremely small, to the point where we could barely open our luggage. Unfortunately, the service also fell far short of what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. The staff came across as unprofessional and unfriendly, with very little warmth or hospitality. From the moment we arrived, I simply did not feel the level of 5-star service I was expecting. One particular incident really upset me. As we were attending a wedding, I asked the hotel for an envelope. I was told they had red envelopes available for guests, and they told me to go down to the lobby and collect it myself. As I was in a hurry preparing for the wedding, I politely declined and asked if it could be sent to our room instead. I waited for around 30 minutes, and eventually had to call again to follow up. Someone finally came up, but they brought a black envelope instead. Since this was specifically for a wedding, receiving a black envelope was culturally inappropriate. The whole experience was unnecessarily frustrating, especially when such a simple request should have been handled much more professionally. Overall, the experience did not live up to what I would expect from a 5-star property, particularly in terms of service and attention to guests. The 2 stars are purely for the location.

A wonderful stay at The Clan Hotel Singapore, made especially memorable by Wilson. The hotel has a refined, welcoming atmosphere, but Wilson’s thoughtful service was the highlight for me. He helped arrange an early check-in, which I really appreciated after travelling, and made me feel genuinely looked after. What stood out was his warmth and professionalism. He was approachable, attentive, and made the experience feel personal and effortless. That kind of hospitality makes a real difference and gives you a reason to return. Thank you, Wilson, for making my stay such a positive experience. You are a real asset to The Clan Hotel, and I hope your efforts receive the recognition they deserve. I would happily stay again.

Rooms are small but clean, got a really high price because of the golden week holiday in china. Mrt is connected to the hotel - a 2 min walk - plus point. And only 2km from gardens by the bay.
