The Gallivant Times Square

Good location and easy to reach to NY central.

Great location and decent room. It was cleaned daily, had hot water and good pressure. The shower was all one room with toilet which got eveything wet but that was fine. Had cold a/c as well.

Liked: Great location and very friendly staff.

Disliked: Nothing, everything was ok.

Liked: Great location right in Times Square. Staff was great and friendly. Good filtered water in the fitness center. The holding of our luggage all day was a great plus for our late flight out.

Disliked: NYC is cramped and expensive overall of course, but I would've spent a bit more to get my money's worth for a Marriott in hindsight. Building was a bit older than expected. Clean overall, but it's "Lived in" if you will.

No hot water.. they turn off the internet 1 night before check out doors there’s a squirt noise every time you open… housekeeper she’s amazing..

Liked: Location perfect, room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Didn't see any breakfast availability. Building itself a bit tiered and could do with a refresh.

Liked: The property is a convenient location for exploring the city’s major sights and has good transport links for the subway.

Disliked: I don’t like to be one to complain but this felt like a bit of a cat fish experience. The rooms advertised online and their standard do not match what you are met with at the hotel. It is a very small room and the room was very tired with a number of sanding marks on the walls which hadn’t been painted over, bed side lights that don’t work, a shower head hanging off the wall and a very small double bed not suitable for anyone over 6 foot. When I raised the question about the quality of room I had booked based on the pictures advertised the staff were very dismissive. I get the impression that they are met with such complaints frequently.
