THE GOLFERS INN

Liked: Bright

Disliked: Had mice

Liked: It was reasonable & we could easily use the TV.

Disliked: The hall smelled unpleasantly.

Liked: Convenient location, always clean, friendly staff.

Disliked: Sometimes at night it could be a struggle to find a parking spot

Liked: Close and not in the ghetto.

Disliked: Despite the so called renovation it’s still very old inside and things are broken and not intact. My room had no smoke detector with the wires hanging from the ceiling and the door knob was falling out the bathroom door. Waited 20 mins for someone to come to the lobby to check me in. And the whole hotel smells like cigarette smoke even though they claim to have a no smoke policy.

Liked: No breakfast offered. Location on busy street but not a problem Beautiful, well-maintained golf course in back. Nice facility

Disliked: TV reception was bad No towel racks in bathroom Attempted repairs poorly done. Definitely done by an amateur. Had to ask for a coffeemaker.

Liked: The bed was comfortable I like that u can walk out ur room to the patio and a nice size TV in the room.

Disliked: I have no complaints

Liked: The rooms were nice enough. If you are a golfer the hotel is right there with a view of the links. Its about 20-40 mins to get into the city (depending on traffic) and a lot cheaper than the hotels I saw inside the city proper

Disliked: The hotel lobby was HOT maybe the air was busted and the hallways smelled like old cigarettes even though they have no smoking signs about every 10 feet as you walk the hotel.

Liked: The staff was absolutely accommodating & genuinely nice people!! Anytime I come to Upper Darby, I’ll definitely make this my #1 spot!! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the rooms and the colors are high end!! Beautifully designed rooms!! I highly recommend

Disliked: My Recommendation is to always Triple check and room before selling it to a guest. Beautiful rooms like this needs all NEW linen replacement NOT Re-used sheets, washcloths or towels. Housekeepers do need to make sure there is NO HAIR in the bathroom or linen NEVER EVER EVER!! Actually clean the toilets and showers + sinks. Not just make up the bed. Housekeepers definitely need better training on cleaning. The front desk staff IMMEDIATELY took care of it though!! Prompt and Quick!! He even watched to make sure the room was clean to standard!! Great Management team to the wonderful beautiful lady at the front. I think she is the owner. It’s a family business & they are doing GREAT!! I highly recommend this lovely hotel!!
