No indication inadvance and it's difficult to find the entrance of rooms since it's at the side of the house. Bad smell of the pillows and sheets. dirty kettle and cups.

Disliked: One of the worst places I have ever stayed – serious safety, security and cleanliness concerns I arrived at approximately 9:50pm after a long journey. The property information stated that assistance with check-in was available until 10pm, but despite arriving before that time, there was nobody there to assist me. Finding the accommodation itself was difficult. There was no clear signage directing me to the entrance. I followed the instructions to go around the back of the building, where I found a shepherd's hut and caravan, but there was virtually no lighting. I had to use the torch on my phone to find my way. There were lights on the stairs, but these only activated once I had actually reached them. I eventually entered using the provided access code and found my room. The room door was slightly ajar and, rather strangely, the key had been left in the door rather than in the lockbox. The biggest problem, however, was the door itself. I could not securely lock my room while still being able to get out of it. I tried repeatedly from both inside and outside. The key could only be removed once the deadlock was engaged, but when I did that, the door could not then be closed in the normal way. The internal locking mechanism also did not work. I was so concerned that I had to knock on the doors of other guests and ask complete strangers to help me. We tried different ways of securing the door, but then discovered something even more worrying: when the door was locked in the only way we could make it lock, I could not get out of the room from inside. That meant my choices appeared to be sleeping with an unsecured door or securing it in a way that could potentially prevent me from getting out in an emergency. I immediately tried to contact the property. I messaged and called both mobile numbers I had been given, but nobody answered. This was particularly concerning because I had arrived before the advertised 10pm cut-off for assistance.

Liked: We booked late and staff weren’t expecting us, called the number and the lady handled it quickly and was nice considering it was late

Disliked: The room was filthy, smelt musty and we walked in, looked around and walked straight back out again. The hallways between rooms were also filthy. Clumps of hair and stains on the mattress. Parking is extremely tight.

Liked: Nothing to like about the property- didn’t even say - talk about false advertising- this place is a shit tip - asked for a refund due to it making people in my party feel unsafe - no refund- it’s run down waiting to collapse. I put my suitcase on the floor - it rolled all the way between the beds to near the pillows - meaning if someone was daft enough to stay there, the headache from having feet higher all night than head - would be awful.

Disliked: Blood stained 2 towels for 3 of us, bathroom falling apart, it stank like old mops, corridor we couldn’t find a light switch - was creepy as- thought the window would fall out it was knackered! Owners dont care, they couldn’t even have the manners to reply to a message. Looks absolutely nothing like the advert- booking.come said they asked on my behalf for a refund to - still no - total thieves.

And I would like ny money back

Disliked: It is the most dirty filthiest place I've ever stayed. 1 towel that could've walked by itself. You needed a shower after being in the shower. Cobwebs galore.
