The Havana Lofts

Staying there from Friday to Sunday during the Indigenous Day weekend with my two adult brother for our annual reconnection. Very nice, spacious and comfortable property. The location is situated in a nice walking community. Decors, Furniture, and bedding were adequate. There was some significant limitation that made my stay very uncomfortable. No Parking on the property despite advertised with very hard to find street parking only. There was no hot water on the property, and no response from staff when the problem was reported. Customer service was non-existent. The coffee machine was dirty and not usable. Limitation in cleanliness; facility might need dusting a little. Hard to justify staying there again for the cost I paid.

Liked: It was a great location.

Disliked: The requested crib was a bassinet

Liked: The property is in a very nice quiet neighborhood. Apartment was very spacious. And a wonderful small park a half. Block away which was perfect since we had our dog with us for our stay. The stairs were a little steep to the apartment but overall very secure and convenient to the area

Disliked: The WiFi was not working well but the staff was attentive in resolving the issues

Liked: Had a really solid stay. The apartment was very roomy, exactly as described, and everything was clean when we arrived. The area felt safe and there were plenty of food spots within walking distance. There’s also a bus stop right across the street and a bike rental rack on the corner, which made getting around easy. The unit had everything we needed, including towels, soap, and a washer and dryer, which definitely came in clutch. The host was also very responsive.

Disliked: The staircase is a little narrow, especially when carrying luggage, floors in the room were squeaky but honestly it wasn’t a deal breaker.

Liked: Great location, comfortable accommodations

Liked: The location was perfect- close to major attractions yet a nice neighborhood feel.

Disliked: Parking was a bit tedious with road construction closing street areas at seemingly random times

Disliked: Upon arrival on September 27, I immediately observed dirty/wet conditions, an unusual odor, visible ceiling/wall staining and apparent water damage, visibly soiled furnishings, and large drying/climate-control equipment with hoses in the property. I photographed these conditions immediately. I contacted the host upon discovering the problems, provided photographs, requested a refund, and left the property within approximately 30 minutes. I did not stay overnight or use the three-night reservation. I would not recommend this space and am in the works in trying to recover the funds I paid for a stay I did not complete.

Liked: They property was fine. Location was fine. Whatever issues we had it was handled in a fast timeframe.

Disliked: Honestly just the steps were a big issue. And the parking moving our car every 2 hours was crazy.
