“Great location”

Liked: Great location, super convenient for getting around. The hotel itself is nice and clean. The rooms are quite small, but they have everything you need for a few nights, so overall it's okay. However, a room meant for two people is really better suited for just one, but we managed.

Disliked: Things got a bit less positive regarding the service. Before arrival, I received an email offering a room upgrade to a partial sea view for 200 HKD per night, which I accepted. Upon arrival, they confirmed the upgrade was possible, but the price had mysteriously increased to 225 HKD per night. I declined since it wasn't the agreed price. The front desk agent who checked us in had a short name starting with "M". She was very unpleasant. She kept making phone calls and it was painfully obvious she was mocking and laughing at us. In the end, we were given a room in a terrible spot—instead of a city view, we were staring straight at a wall. When I went back to reception to point out we paid for a city view and not a wall, she claimed that was it. As I walked away, she started talking to another staff member, mocking and laughing at me again. You don't even need to know the language to realize when someone is ridiculing you. When it comes to the staff—at least this specific front desk receptionist—it is an absolute zero-star experience.

The Housekeeping service was prompt and efficient. I just felt ill at ease when they replaced the refrigerator, moving some of my consumables to the new unit they placed, without informing me.

Liked: The location itself, very convenient especially woth a toddler. Train station under it is very crucial for us. Almost half you need to experience in hongkong is around that area.
