The Millennials Kyoto

Five stars for cleanliness, five stars for location, and five stars for price. I stayed for one night at around 40,000 won at the end of September to the beginning of October. I have severe allergic rhinitis, so I place a lot of importance on the cleanliness of accommodations, and I was very satisfied. Since I was traveling alone, I chose a capsule hotel because I thought I might feel lonely in a larger space, and I was very pleased with that choice. They even took care of my luggage after check-out, and I appreciated being able to use the lounge. Above all, this price, this location, and it being women-only! I want to stay at this brand again when I travel to Japan alone next time.

Excellent location,surrounded by shops,taxi,bus and restaurants. Take bus 205 to go to kyoto station. Although a bit far from kyoto station. The receptionist during our check in was not welcoming-don't know why. Basic amenities and some you need to pay. The pod is so comfortable and pleasing size.You can make it as sofa bed. You can even store a carry on under your bed. The shared facilities is not a problem as during my stay. The dining--(you can cook and lots of choices for free drink) and lobby area is impressive for a capsule hotel. Would stay again and prayerfully next time would be greeted with kindness and smile.

Compared this to my hotel in Tokyo. Worth your money! Near a train/bus station around 3min away. Located at a shopping strip near convenience stores and right next to a mall with GU and UNIQLO. No need to worry where to eat for breakfast because it’s already included. Lastly, the room was super spacious compared to my hostel in Tokyo, but please note that the room can be a little bit warm inside since there is no direct AC so take that into consideration if you’re booking a hostel. Overall highly recommend!! 👍👍👍

I was very satisfied:) First of all, the bedding was really comfortable, and since there were blinds installed, even though it was a dormitory, I could rest comfortably like in a private room. The amenities were also conveniently prepared in various ways. Towels, slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, earplugs, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. were available at the front, so I could take as much as I needed and use them comfortably. The shower and restroom were divided into several stalls, so there was almost no waiting while using them. All the staff were friendly, and the lounge had a water dispenser, ice maker, coffee machine, refrigerator, and kitchen facilities, so it was great to be able to prepare simple food myself. The refrigerator was set up so that I could store my items by writing the checkout date, room number, and name, which was convenient. Above all, the location was really good! Not only were there convenience facilities, but the subway and bus stops were also nearby, making it easy to explore Kyoto and come back late. During my stay, all the guests were quiet and respectful, which made for a more comfortable experience. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. I would love to try other locations as well, not just in Kyoto! 😊

First time to stay in a capsule hotel and it was an amazing experience! Very modern, loved that towels are replaced every use. Very cozy lounge with unlimited tea, coffee and beer. Staff are smiling, very helful and accommodating. Perfect location where i found my favorite resto just around the corner. Will surely book again!

The sleeping area, rest room, shower, co-working space are very nice and clean. I felt very comfortable for the place and atmosphere throughout my stay.

Liked: Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! Clean, quiet and the capsules were amazing! The beds were comfortable and the fact that everything was controlled by an I pod was awesome. The lounge was great and the happy hour is a great way to meet people. It’s also in a perfect location. I would 100% stay here again.

Disliked: Check out is kind of early but honestly no complaints.

I am traveling in various cities in Japan, and this place has left the biggest impression on me. The location is good, but the staff was so friendly. When I came to check in after leaving my luggage, they remembered me and kindly assisted with the check-in. Unlike other capsules, this place felt just like a single room, which I really liked, and I was very pleased with the bedding. I think it would be enough even for two women. The shower room was clean and nice, and overall I was satisfied, so if I go to Kyoto again, I would probably book here again. Thank you.
