Eco Nest Hotel & Apartment

We stayed here twice as the location was convenient, especially for catching Grab cars. Quieter neighbourhood but only a couple of blocks walk to Lake Hoan Kiem. The room and bathroom were decently sized. As it’s a budget hotel the rooms are older and a little shabby but clean and comfortable.

This hotel was my unfortunate choice for the night after getting off a sleeper bus from Ha Giang. At 2:30 I rolled into bed after checking in with the security guard. Then to be bitten non stop in a room covered in bugs and a broken toilet. I was forced to leave at 3:30 as I couldn’t handle it anymore. Do not stay here!!!!

no reception desk, no service, only one security guard handling guests' deals. they accepted bookings on Agoda even when there were no rooms left.

Good value/price ratio

Small room. I booked a room with two beds but when I checked in they only gave me a one-bed room and didn’t apologize or offer a discount. The next day they called to urgently ask us to change rooms after we had already gone out, which was inconvenient — we had to book a Grab to come back and switch rooms. Something I left in the room was told to be checked by housekeeping but they never got back to me. I called the front desk; they said they checked but still didn’t inform me.

Disliked: When I arrived, the host told me they were fully booked and I had to go to another hotel they own, 1km away. I had to pay the taxi for it and the location was nothing like the pictures, it's really bad rooms they have.

That day I arrived at the hotel at 11:45. The receptionist said the rule is that early check-in costs extra, 100k for each hour! Really — just like that (I know the official check-in time is 14:00). I travel for work all over Vietnam and hardly any hotel is this blatantly money-focused!

Worst rooms and worst toilet. Don’t come here
