The Old Doctors Office

Liked: Clean rooms, clean bathroom, clean kitchen, comfortable beds and a very affordable price.

Liked: The rooms are large. Even for a Hostel,which is good. The decoration and concept of a doctor's office is nice.

Disliked: The stove in the kitchen doesn't work. The bathroom sink and the shower are clogged. They have an issue with hornets that get inside of the hostel at night (I even found a dead hornet on my pillow case)which I consider dangerous. There is no cutlery in the kitchen.

Liked: The price was affordable, not far from the Hamburg) airport, and Property was easy to find.

Disliked: The house had an unpleasant smell, my room did not have any light to switch on during the night, the shower curtains was dirty, my room was upstairs there was a microwave but no electric socket to plug in. There were no staff to speak to and I had to leave and find a different hotel after three hours because I had a child and could not stay in a room with no light or even a lamp to switch on.

Liked: interier design, small details

Disliked: Didn’t like anything. Very hard to open front door. No proper welcoming sign about room or anything. Hard to communicate with personnel. No electricity in part of the property. Pictures very deceiving.

Liked: Nice and calm

Liked: This is a budget hotel and this is what you get. It is a quaint, cosy building with nooks and crannies, funnily shaped rooms, a nice little garden at the front, conveniently close to a supermarket and slightly outdated, but clean and serviceable, bathrooms. We stayed there one night before an international flight und didnt want to rely on public transport the day of our flight, so this stay was very convenient and fulfilled its purpose. Would stay there again.

Disliked: A bit outdated, but clean and serviceable.

Liked: shared kitchen, and community room. decently clean.

Disliked: The room was furnished very basic, but at least the bed was comfortable.
