The Patra Bali Resort & Villas

The resort and the room itself is really really old n aging.The room and bathroom had mould smell.overall it was a very disappointing experience. Sorry Agoda but u have to update the pics on ur app!

I wouldn't stay here for the beach, but the pool is very nice and large. Expensive drinks and food. The room was big and quiet.

Location next door to the airport, facilities were great, staff were lovely, grounds well maintained, breakfast was a good variety of options including local food, fruit, pancakes and crepes, pastries, desserts, egg station and barrister making code to order. Great for a stopover stay and close to Kuta main strip. Only negative is the beach, which is not staffed and full of rubbish and broken glass on the sand so not ideal for children. I saw that most people chose to stay in the pool. Good value for money.

it is very big resort hotel. their suite room is very nice. even furniture bit old but well maintained. breakfast is nice. friendly staff.

I booked because the facilities and location looked great. However, communication was poor. There were a few things that needed to be confirmed before check-in, but we never got any response, which was a bit annoying. In the end, everything worked out fine. On check-in day the front desk staff member was very curt, so I wondered if that was normal. He only told us the breakfast time and then asked, “Anything else you want to know?” which felt odd and made me uneasy. I explained that we had an early departure one day and asked if there was any way to have breakfast then. He recommended a packed meal, but the next morning none of the hotel staff knew anything about it. The front desk told us to ask the kitchen, the kitchen told us to ask the servers — it was chaos. When the pickup car arrived we asked if we could at least get water and were told they only had glass bottles. Then the young staff member who had been helping us became flustered, ran off, and returned with two bottles of Aquafina. Up to that point I let it go, and after we finished our day’s activities we were in a good mood and planned to drop it. But our room hadn’t been cleaned that day, so we asked for towels and tissue. While we were speaking, another female staff member kept interrupting us and wouldn’t listen through to the end. It felt like being ignored for the first time, so I brought up what had happened in the morning. Only then did she sit up straight, apologize, and kindly call a buggy for us. Aside from that, the buggy driver who showed us to the accommodation at check-in, the other reception staff, the restaurant staff, and the pool staff were all very friendly! The surprise party and decorations were touching — we were deeply moved and had a very happy time! But because of those few staff members, the hotel’s image suffered a lot. The facilities and most of the staff are really good...

There was live traditional music during breakfast, which created a wonderful atmosphere. A delivery I ordered through Grab was conveniently brought to my room by cart. Both the room and the pool were cleaned nicely. The staff were always smiling and very pleasant. I would definitely like to stay here again.
