The hotel is comfortable, clean, tidy and fragrant. All facilities work, the staff are kind and friendly, the furniture is luxurious, the AC is cold, the water is clean without smell or metallic odor. The mattress is soft, the blanket is thick, the pillows are plush and plentiful. This should be a 5-star hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel is great, clean, and the service is good—the staff are friendly. The food is really tasty too. It's an inexpensive hotel but not cheap-feeling. Next time I'll stay here again, no problems at all, in fact it's very comfortable to stay here.

Overall, everything was excellent starting with the service — there was a welcome drink, staff were friendly and brought our items up to the room, the room was clean, tidy and cool, with lots of soft pillows. Everything worked, including the water heater and the many HD TV channels with no ants on the screen. The water was clean and didn’t smell metallic, the soap smelled nice, towels were clean, the floor was vinyl, soundproofing was good, and the interior felt luxurious. The bathroom was clean and didn’t smell, the room was bright and even had a bedside lamp. Parking was free. We arrived at 1:00 but were allowed into the room by 1:30, which is rare — I’ve even had hotels where I could only check in at 3:00. In short, The Point Hotel Balikpapan is really AWESOME. The hotel room was clean, comfortable, safe, and very cozy to stay in. The location is strategic in the city center so it’s easy to get anywhere. Facilities are complete and the service is very friendly.

Please at least remove the glass stain — the coffee mark could be cleaned off with scouring powder — and make the hotel slippers thicker so they’re more comfortable to wear.

Got a room whose air conditioning wasn't cold at all. Contacted staff several times and they did respond, but honestly the AC never got cold — I even sweated and couldn't sleep all night.
