President Hotel

The location of the hotel is really great. It's right next to City Hall Square and close to Myeong-dong, so it's perfect for sightseeing. Despite its age, it feels well maintained. They did give me back the wrong checked luggage, and unlike other hotels where staff greet you with a smile first, there wasn't anyone who proactively said hello here, which was a bit disappointing. The lobby is spacious, but it's a shame there aren't enough places to sit.

I could hear conversations from the next room and outside noise clearly. Maybe to cut costs they didn't turn on the heating, which made me catch a cold. The bathroom power didn’t work so the bidet was unusable, and the hair dryer had to be used outside the room. This doesn't feel like a hotel I'd ever want to visit again — a neighborhood motel would be better.

편안하게 잘 이용하였습니다.

Last year I stayed in a standard twin, but this year I booked a Twin Plus. The room must have been renovated because it was much nicer than the one I had last year. However, maybe because it was on the 28th floor, the water pressure was terribly weak! It took ages to fill the bathtub, and washing my hair was really difficult. The price was considerably higher than last year, which was frustrating, but the location is great so I still recommend this hotel.
