The River Lee Hotel a member of The Doyle Collection

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the River Lee Hotel! The hotel is fabulous, and the rooms are incredibly spacious compared to many other hotels we’ve stayed in. But what truly made our experience special was the staff. Their hospitality was exceptional. It never felt like we were being treated as just another set of guests; instead, it felt like we were being looked after by genuinely kind people who truly care. That kind of personal touch is so rare and makes all the difference. A few little things that made our stay memorable: * It was my husband’s birthday, and they left us a lovely handwritten birthday note. * I asked for a thinner pillow, and they brought us several options to choose from. * When we checked out, they even asked if we’d like some bottles of water for our journey home. These may seem like small gestures, but they speak volumes about the people working here. It’s the kind of hospitality that makes you feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated. I would wholeheartedly recommend the River Lee Hotel to anyone, anytime. We’d happily stay here again! One thing to keep in mind when booking: parking is paid. We paid €15 for overnight parking, so make sure to factor that into your stay.

Liked: A lovely hotel in a walkable location. A very relaxing lobby with various lounge areas that were comfortable and chill. We had a newly updated room overlooking the river and a quaint hillside. The room was quiet, had thoughtful amenities (good lighting, tea assortment, cozy robe and slippers). The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Umbrellas provided in lobby for guest use. The restaurant and bar provided excellent food and service. We had a great experience.

Liked: Management and staff were so kind and helpful. They went above our expectations. We greatly appreciate all they did for us. I would come back just for that reason. The rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was exceptional.

Liked: The resturant was very good. Breakfast was good (I didn't like the selection for buffet breakfast). The tap water was not very good but we were given bottled water
