“Great location”
The hotel is very well located, near to shops and restaurants and very easily accessible by public transport.

“The location was good and it was nice.”
The location was close to Higashi-Ginza Station or Ginza, and if you wanted, you could walk to Tokyo Station as well, so I took a leisurely walk to see the night view. I arrived early and planned to leave my luggage, but they allowed me an early check-in, so I happily put my bags in the room and went to eat at Tsujita nearby. The room was on the smaller side, but since hotel rooms in Japan are generally small, I was okay with that. As soon as I entered, I noticed some hair on the floor, so I took away one star for that, but aside from that, I was quite satisfied. It's a great place if you plan to stay long in Ginza~~! Pang Maison is also close, making it perfect for breakfast.

“Great Location; Nice Facility; Good Food”
We were able to check our bags, and then check in early, which was a total bonus. The room itself was nice - it's a bit different from what American travelers might expect, especially with the bathroom being separate from the sink and shower. And they had renovated, changing two twins to having a bunk bed over the top of the beds to sleep 4. That cramped the size a bit, but the beds are comfortable, and for a major city where space is limited, it is pretty nice. It even has a sofa in it, which is a major bonus. All in all, we are glad we found this place!

“Wanted to love Square Hotel”
Surprisingly for Ginza, the room I selected was more spacious than I expected. However, I had a few concerns: No drawers to unpack clothes in. One tiny trash can underneath the tv which I moved closer to the bathroom. Super slippery bath tub especially for a senior traveler (70 yrs) when showering. When I asked the front desk for a rubber mat, I was told they didn’t have one but suggested I use a small towel, which I received. However housekeeping took the small towel away before I could shower in the evening, which was still folded and not used. I had to be careful while showering since the soap made it slippery again. I had problems with the AC being warm all night and the next day. Actually the hallway was much cooler than my room. The staff who came to check tried different methods to cool down the room, even turning the electrical system in my room off and on again. This gal was super! Since the hotel didn’t have fans, she offered to bring one from her home! I’ll gladly suffer warm nights and days by keeping my window and door open rather than to have her go to that extent. The breakfast buffet was good with a variety offerings. This hotel had a few new dishes everyday, unlike some larger hotels which served the exact same breakfasts. To my surprise, I enjoyed their mashed potatoes and tater tots. This is not my usual breakfast but it was an eye opener for me. For a small hotel, I guess there has to be some limitations. The front desk staff spoke sufficient English until the AC incident. Unless requested, like housekeeping not take small towels for the slippery tub, they don’t seem to go beyond like the normal Japan service I’ve come to experience. For seniors like myself, I would not recommend this property simply for safety purposes in the shower.

“Nice boutique hotel in Ginza”
Modern facilities, great location in central Ginza. Close to a number of subways and easy access to the rest of Tokyo. Was a perfect base for our family of 3.
