“Horrendous stay”
We stayed at the Stadium Hotel on 25th June, to attend a concert at Anfield Stadium. Stadium Hotel inters it is a Hotel. It took us ages to actually locate the place, as when we actually did, it was simply a door with the name on it, on the busiest main road. The Hotel said it had parking, which was not true, I had to email the place, to find out we had to go 5 mins down the road, and park in the local pub carport. Our room was so small you could barely swing a cat. The bed was across the window which meant my husband had to climb over me yo be able to get out. It was the hottest day of the year. There is no air con or fan, so we had to open the window, which then was a problem as it was such a busy main road and very noisy. The bathroom was so small that the sink was actually situated on the toilet systern, which meant you had to lean over the toilet to get washed. The toilet was so close to the door that my knees actually touched it when sat on the toilet, and I am not tall. There was a shared kitchen, which was at the top of the landing and not so clean. Also if there had been a fire in the kitchen or the steps, there was no fire escape to be able to get out. I emailed the owner to share my concerns and the fact that it certainly did not justify £165 a night price. Please find below his reply. Hi Karren sorry you didn’t like your stay. If you would have raised your issues at the start of your stay I would have happily moved you rooms or building or given you a refund. I can assure you my hotel is passed with all legislation including fire and safety. If you find anything else you would like to moan about feel free to let me know. BTW, my name is Christine, not Karen, so that was very rude of him.

“Impossible to sleep: too hot and noisy. But clean, with good amenities, and helpful staff”
Liked: Walking distance to stadium and quite clean which was important. Private bathroom was very helpful. Kitchen was good: had kettle, mugs, and free tea available. Responsive team when contacted about parking. I didn't need to use the further parking they told me about as there was an available nearer available position
Disliked: Horrible time sleeping because the room gets incredibly hot at night and there is no fan, just one widow. With it closed it was unbearable heat. With it open the street noise was horrible (it was like 4 AM by the time I managed to sleep!). Also the pillows are incredibly thin. No coffee in kitchen but that's a small thing I only wanted a place to crash for the night and this did not deliver:(... shame cause everything else was fine
