The Time Nha Trang Hotel

Good location, many shops around.. cozy room. Just ac in my room not cold enough and its on timer doesn't stay on for long.

Reasonably priced for the location — being on the second strip makes the beach super close. We have a small child, so we booked a room with one double and one single bed and it was comfortably spacious. Breakfast is served at the hotel, which is very convenient — after eating we could head out right away. The weather in Nha Trang gets a cool breeze by around 1 PM, so sightseeing isn't tiring.

I stayed alone. First, there were quite a few stains on the room walls, and the slippers were not disposable... The body wash wasn't refilled and the dispenser was faulty. The worst part was the towels — there were far too few. You get one towel per person to dry off after a shower. Are they saying we should only wash once a day, morning or night...? They said it’s hotel policy. Aside from the male concierge, the rest of the staff were all friendly and the food in the restaurant was okay. I definitely wouldn’t come here if I were a couple or a family.

We were on the top floor, 19th floor. Lying on the bed there was a faint musty smell, and the sofas and furniture in the lobby area were very dirty. I've never seen such a small, drab lobby. Everything else was good. The bathroom was completely separated — toilet in its own room, shower in its own space, and a separate sink. Water pressure was great. The air conditioning was excellent — it got cold in less than five minutes. Breakfast was decent. The hotel is tucked down a side alley, so noise wasn’t an issue. It was about 80,000 VND for three people on a weekend, so good value. I plan to stay again.

On my last day I wanted to stay longer in town, so I hurriedly looked for a place the day before. The location was good, so I booked for around 30,000 won. After booking I read more reviews and got a bad feeling, but check-in turned out better than I expected. They checked me in just before 2 PM. The room was tidy and well cleaned. I think there had been an issue with towels before, but when I stayed it was fine. The AC cools quickly. I was really pleasantly surprised, but after going out and returning there was a smell in the bathroom like nothing I’d ever smelled before. If you keep the bathroom door closed it’s okay, but if you need to use it you have to brace yourself. 🥲🥲 If it had been for more than one night I would have requested a room change, but I stayed put because I was leaving soon.;; Everything else was fine except for the bathroom!

Please don't go — I beg you. This was the worst hotel I've stayed at. First of all, the air in the hotel felt damp and musty. The moment I entered the room the bathroom and sewer smell was so strong it was hard to breathe. I chose it because it seemed like decent value for a half-night stay, but at this price you might as well sleep outside. As soon as I went into the room there were hordes of ants crawling all over the vanity and sink, so I couldn't even properly open my suitcase. While trying to sleep I kept hearing a rattling like something running along the ceiling — maybe rats — and I couldn't sleep at all.

Checked in. In my view the male receptionists weren’t very friendly or enthusiastic. The hotel is small. The buffet on the 1st floor is quite small with few dishes; the lobby is small so you have to sit on the mezzanine. The room was okay, but had the drawback others mentioned: food smells coming up into the room. Right after eating at the buffet the room smelled of food even though it was on the 9th floor. The parking garage is small; the pool is small and nobody was using it. Service was so-so.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center and the staff are friendly. However, the most inconvenient thing was that there were no towels prepared in the room when I checked in. I asked staff several times but was only told to wait, which was very inconvenient because I needed to wash up, rest, and then go out. The towels I was later given were very old and worn, and had many small stains on them, which was quite unpleasant from a hygiene standpoint. This definitely needs improvement. So if you’re planning to book this hotel, I recommend taking these issues into full consideration.
