“Hard to beat this location”

Have stayed here twice now and it’s just a lovely hotel with great ambience and staff. Convenient for the many eateries in Chinatown.

“I love staying at The Ultimo. So central to everything and clean and comfortable with friendly staff.”

Liked: The location is perfect to get anywhere you need to be. The hotel was clean and comfortable with all we needed. Staff were very lovely and helpful.

Disliked: Three of us stayed. I gave my children the king bed and I slept on the sofa bed which was not very comfortable. More fool me for spoiling my kids!

“Comfortable, loads of character and in the perfect location.”

Liked: What a fantastic location! Right in the heart of Chinatown, opposite Paddy's Markets, a stroll to Darling Harbour and the tram, it was convenient and had charm and character. Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Disliked: Hardly anything - highly recommend!

“Very good”

Liked: Room was very clean and more spacious than it appeared in the photos. Location was perfect for easy access to the trains and trams. Walking distance from shopping district and great food options nearby.

Disliked: No vanity space in bathroom. It was also extremely noisy at night due to a rooftop bar being across the road opposite our room. So I would recommend bringing earplugs if you want to get a decent sleep.
