“A great week in Chicago”
Liked: Clean hotel, not a bad location but there are better hotel locations but the views onto Lake Michigan and Navy Pier.
Disliked: Not much to dislike as I didn’t spend much time in the hotel.

“Overpriced and in much need of a major overhaul.”
Liked: Great location and beautiful views. Large rooms if a little past their best.
Disliked: The air conditioning is unreasonably loud. Sleep with that noise is challenging.

“A lovely stay!”
Liked: Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms with a wonderful view, daily cleaning was great and I was very happy to have a bath in the ensuite! The facilities provided for Chicago marathon were also amazing and much appreciated.
Disliked: An addable option to include a toaster or microwave in the room, or one available to use downstairs, would be great for the marathon weekend

“Mediocre”
Liked: Ambiance and location.
Disliked: Everything about it is poorly thought-out and designed to inconvenience customers at the benefit of the property. No vanity kits, tea, or coffee provided to rooms. They must be asked for. Room service is careless and inconsiderate, placing clean clothes in dusty parts of the room and mixing up toothbrushes in the bathroom. Limited lighting in the room. Etc etc

“For easy, budget friendly, and good location.”
Liked: Room was nice enough, plenty of space for one person, including a small "living room" set up. Liked that there was a small refrigerator, working safe, and plenty of closet space (for one person). The location was great! Easy walk to shops, restaurants, Miracle Mile, if you are a tourist you have the Navy Pier across the street. The staff was friendly all around and made check-in and check-out easy.
Disliked: The decor was fine; you can see some of the "upkeep" throughout the room. My window looked out directly into another building so not ideal for desired direct daylight (and views) but it did not dampen the stay. The television control didn't work 100%. I had to manually turn on/off the t.v. set on the t.v. side panel. Additionally, the control would allow to scroll stations up and down once on, but wouldn't turn the unit on/off or help you find the channel guide with the press of the button. The desk set up for working on computer was not great; it felt cramped sitting so close to the the wall and t.v. station, but I am used to a much larger desk with more working space, so this may be ok for most people who are there as tourists and not working. The desk chair was not a rolling chair as expected, so I found myself working on the bed more often because of this. A small coffee table in the "living room" would have made it easier when eating. None of this made my stay bad however.
