Liked: Clean, great bedding and showers. Love the pillows. Blu Ember was fantastic. Staff was great. One man at night was very kind. The sauna was lovely.

Liked: I had a one day business trip on a Monday. Hotel was great access to work and airport. Very nice environment and comfortable. Business trip cost was within reasonable amount to bill a client who looks over the expense of an invoice.

Liked: I booked for the location and didn't think much of the property until I arrived. This is the nicest Hotel I've stayed in Queens. The outdoor staff were friendly, welcoming and so helpful assisting with baggage. Walking into this new sparkling hotel smelled so good. The atmosphere was peaceful, calm with warm tones of beige, brushed brass and amber lighting and comfortable velvet seating throughout the lobby. The room was in the same soothing beige tones. The bed was very comfortable with a big fluffy comforter, tea and coffee station,a flat screen that was adjustable and ability to get to the HDMI. Large bathroom with rain shower and hand held shower attachment with adjustable pressure. The bathroom lighting was excellent with recessed overhead lights, frameless illuminated mirror and a close up mirror. Plenty of towels and White Tea scented shower products. The room has a safe that will fit a 15" laptop and more. Water and Ice are supplied in the hallway of every floor. My room was on the 3rd floor facing Northern Boulevard. It was surprisingly quiet. The new glass windows are most likely triple pane and are noise reducing. There is a swimming pool and an American Bistro restaurant that I didn't indulge in but they looked super!

Liked: The hotel was clean and modern, and the reception staff were pleasant. The location was also convenient for LaGuardia Airport.

Disliked: Housekeeping and overall service could have been much better. Our room wasn’t cleaned until around 5 PM, and several items that should have been replenished were not replaced. We requested cups, sugar, and cream and had to call twice to follow up. The room itself also felt quite basic for a Westin. For the price and the brand, we expected better attention to detail and more consistent service.

Liked: The location of this hotel is great, it's in the middle of Queens and you can walk to so much stuff. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were dark at night.

Disliked: So much! Firstly we waited for the shuttle at the airport for over an hour. After calling the hotel twice (and dealing with AI that was still learning) we ended up paying for two taxis. The hotel told us they would give us connecting rooms then they didn't and when we asked they told us they didn't have any. The pool was closed for half the day (12-5pm), when we went it was cold, the lifeguard was rude and the floor was filthy. The only restaurant was so understaffed it took over 30 minutes to be served a drink and other customers walked out. Honestly this was so disappointing for a Westin and I would never go back.
