“Front service poor”

No one in front gate to receive and welcome guests. Thought it is a 5 star hotel. Had to request luggage to be bright up as no one was available at the front gate. Took so long that we had to take the luggage upstairs ourselves. Room service very very slow. If we requested anything they would either forget it or attend to it about 1 hour after. The housekeeping never attended to our rooms to clean. So we were not happy about it. Hotel is middle of nowhere with kthjng around. Dead atmosphere inside the hotel and in lobby. Front desk staff never smiles and always seems busy looking at computers and would never greet you. The restaurant is so dark very hard to look and read the Menu. Limited food options. They packed up lot of breakfast at 10:20am when we arrived, even though breakfast should finish at 10:30am. I don’t think it is a 5 star hotel level service

“Poor front of house service”

There was no porter service available when we arrived to take our luggage. When asked the reception they said they will arrange but it was taking so long we took the luggage ourselves. Also if we requested anything took ages to be done. Asked for cutlery but took more than an hour to deliver. Quicker to go down to the restaurant and collect it. Lastly we had a VVIP guest staying from Bangladesh and we had few guests come over to lobby to take photos but the front office staff Azad was very rude and told us ‘mate this is Australia you can’t do this’ what did he mean by that? We all are Australians…if there was any issue just tell us that but don’t throw words like ‘this is Australia’…would never ever stay in this hotel anymore. Also middle of nowhere and very dead atmosphere inside
