“Lovely forest setting and nice hosts, good value for money.”

Liked: The hosts were a lovely family that went out of their way to make us comfortable. The stay is an actual tree house that is great for a 1 night stay. The setting in the middle of the forest is lovely, and we loved seeing sunrise from the balcony.

Disliked: The location is a bit remote and takes time and effort to get there from the main tourist strip in Ella.

“Surprisingly Good”

I was a bit worried while heading to the location deep in the woods. But when I got there I was surprised to see such a beautiful cozy little hut on the top of the mountain with such lovely views. Absolutely loved it. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, I cannot thank them enough. The home made breakfast was such a treat. Loved it. I will definitely stay here again.

“I highly recommend staying here!!!”

I stayed at this place 3 night and, what can I say: I needed a few days just for myself, and this property, surrounded by nature, was exactly what I was looking for. The room was perfect and very bright; I also saw many animals passing by on the balcony, which was truly exciting! Thilan was extremely helpful and kind; I highly recommend staying here!!! P.S. The breakfast is phenomenal and very generous

“Ideal for a quite stay next to Ella, but not if you want to be close to the city centre.”

Liked: Super friendly host, asking about how it goes and what the plans are, but not too intrusive. Nice experience to sleep in a treehouse, one of the nicest breakfasts we had in our 3 weeks Sri Lanka. It was a different one each night for our 2 night stay. Super clean bathroom.

Disliked: Not super close to the center. We had a tuk tuk so we were fine. An additional tuk tuk service is also offered by the host. You hear a lot of noise, maybe to be expected in a treehouse. The shower/toilet is down a metal stairway, which isn’t clear from the posting.

“Quit and green location”

Very friendly staff who also drove us to Ella, the waterfall and then even to the next hotel. Very good breakfast and cosy rooms.
