TIA Wellness Resort - Spa Inclusive

I highly recommend TIA wellness hotel

Liked: Amazing, well kept luxury resort with a great spa and exceptionally good treatments.

Disliked: Everything was great.

Because it was the rainy season, I was really disappointed on the days I couldn’t use the private pool in the room. On the last night the rain stopped and I was finally able to get in. I dimmed the lights and used insect repellent spray. The next morning I was surprised to see leaves that had been floating in the pool already cleaned out very early (they probably cleaned from the garden-side service door). The hot stone massage at the spa is the most recommended. Breakfast is so hearty that if you eat enthusiastically you won’t need lunch—you’ll be full. The local restaurants are a bit far, so if you want to wander around on your own, a hotel in town that’s much cheaper might be a better choice. Grab delivery was really helpful, but since this is a high-end hotel you have to pick it up at the guardhouse because delivery drivers aren’t allowed inside. The pillows were luxuriously comfortable, and the height was adjustable so I slept very well. I think things would feel different if it had been sunny. Tropical rainy seasons really pour, so I spent time reading in the room. On the plus side I was able to join the free shuttle to Hoi An and a yoga breathwork session, so overall not bad. There were few staff who spoke Japanese, and many who spoke English with an accent that made them a little hard to understand (maybe that was just me). It had been a long time since I traveled alone overseas, so it was a bit of a challenge, but the hotel staff were kind—I got the sense that even the restaurant staff knew it was my last morning. They were willing to clean in the evening if I asked, and they made an effort to understand my broken English. The service was top-notch.

I researched what the place would be like before my stay, and it turned out to be an even more wonderful experience than I had imagined. The room was very spacious and clean, and had a private pool. Housekeeping came twice a day, and there were wellness-resort–style activities. The spa was excellent. Breakfast was delicious. It was the best stay in Da Nang, where I felt the hospitality of every single staff member.

Great place to come and relax

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights and overall it was a very satisfying stay. All the resort staff were friendly, and in particular Nga, who handled Korean, took care of us very attentively and left a strong impression. She approached us proactively and kindly guided us on everything from how to use the room to scheduling massages, which made us feel supported and relaxed throughout the trip. The room and resort facilities were generally very clean and well maintained, and we were pleased with the housekeeping. It was also convenient that we could order outside food for delivery, and the staff were very helpful with receiving and handling delivery orders, which was a big plus. The only downside was that the air conditioner in the room sounded quite loud at night. Light sleepers might find this somewhat uncomfortable. Aside from that, we were satisfied with the service, cleanliness, facilities, and the staff’s friendliness. It was a resort where a couple can rest comfortably. If we visit Da Nang again, this is an accommodation we would consider returning to.

The room was perfectly clean. The SPA was very soothing. The food was good based on organic and health concepts. The staff were friendly and helpful. Only wished there was a rack to dry the swimsuits at the villa poolside. Had to wet the room floor before reaching the shower. Other than this the whole stay was very relaxing.
