“Scam”
I have stayed at Tomorrow Hotel in Ximending several times because of its convenient location and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, this visit was deeply disappointing. I have already removed my previous five-star review because it no longer reflects my experience. I booked through Agoda for approximately *** per night. At check-in, staff encouraged me to upgrade to a larger room for an additional *** per night, bringing the total to approximately *** per night. They showed me the room beforehand and described the upgrade rate as discounted. I agreed, expecting a more comfortable stay, but ultimately regretted the decision. The room and facilities feel badly outdated. The layout is awkward, the finishes appear uneven, and the furniture feels cheap and poorly arranged. Although the upgraded room is considerably larger than the standard room, it still feels cramped. More space adds little value when the room is poorly designed. Several basic comforts were lacking. The air conditioning did not cool the room adequately. The shower had no curtain or effective barrier to contain the water, leaving the bathroom floor wet. The bathroom felt more like a basic student dormitory bathroom than what I would expect from a hotel at this price. The makeup desk had no mirror, the hair dryer was weak and outdated, and the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. I also came across another guest’s review describing a similar upgrade offer after booking through Agoda. That guest reported that the supposed upgraded room was actually the room included in their original reservation. I cannot verify their experience or say that the same happened to me, but their account added to my concerns about how upgrades are presented. Guests should carefully confirm their booked room category and exactly what an upgrade includes before paying extra. After this stay, I feel scammed. I paid a substantial additional charge for an upgrade that did not deliver the comfort or quality I expected. Describing the price as “discounted” does not make it good value, and this experience has seriously damaged my trust in the business. I understand that weekend rates, the National Day holiday, and the Ximending location can increase prices. However, the accommodation still needs to justify the amount charged. I could accept many of these shortcomings at a budget rate, but approximately *** per night is overpriced for what I received. The snack vouchers did little to compensate for the lack of basic comfort. Tomorrow Hotel needs a substantial renovation and more thoughtful room design if it intends to charge these rates. Otherwise, its prices should reflect the basic accommodation it currently offers. I intend to take this matter further by submitting formal complaints to Agoda and the relevant consumer protection authorities, documenting the charges and the conditions I experienced. I take these concerns seriously and will pursue them through the appropriate complaint channels. Despite my previous visits, this will be my last stay.

“Tomorrow Hotel”
While the location is great, our check-in experience was very disappointing. We intentionally booked our room starting a day early to guarantee we could check in immediately upon our 1:00 AM arrival. Despite this, we were kept standing at reception for over 10 minutes while staff aggressively pushed an "upgrade promo." We repeatedly declined because we just wanted to rest, but the hard-sell tactics were relentless. When we finally got to our standard room, it was ridiculously small. It feels like their marketing strategy is to make standard rooms so uncomfortably tight that guests feel forced to upgrade -and if you refuse, they give you the smallest room possible.
