“Great downtown hotel choice”
I was fortunate to reserve a 2 bed studio on sale, so relatively affordable. It was the largest hotel room I have ever stayed in and could have accommodated 2 couples. And the location was perfect for tourist sightseeing. The adjacent breakfast diner and Asian restaurant were convenient too.

“Excellent”
Liked: The location is what we like about the hotel. It is close to our child's school and in the loop.
Disliked: The radiator made sounds throughout the night, pinging and clinking. The armrest on the desk chair was loose. The carpet upstairs is dated and worn. It is clean but very very basic.

“Dated hotel near chimarathon site”
Thb, spending *** a night (wo breakfast) on a 2⭐ hotel is ridiculous. The price hike is driven mainly by Chicago Marathon weekend, and from my observation, this hike is all over the hotels within the city. The hotel looks dated but maintained. My room *** is very basic. Comes with A/C, a TV and a hot-water dispenser ( i wouldnt call it a coffee machine) microwave (available at top 12th floor and Ice at every storey) The cleaniness can be improved, i was welcome with remains from previous user in the bath (refer to pic). My room comes with a bath, which i have no idea how to flood it wo a stopper. The shower has no control of flow strength, only temperature. The safe was defective due to no batt, was resolved by the maintenance the next day. The highlights of this hotel is the good quality shower gel and shampoo/ condition. I had a good night sleep. Other than the close promxity to chicago marathon start point, i dont think i would have book this hotel. (Ps i had a layover in a tokyo hotel at a tenth of the price with better amenities)

“Great Location!”
If you're visiting Chicago and want to spend your money on food, drinks, and site-seeing instead of a high-procedures hotel, then this the spot. One block from Michigan Ave and 15-20 min walk to the River Walk. Room was Nothing to brag about, but great for me and my adult soon. It was all about location and price for us, which worked out for this trip.

“A hotel specialized in transportation convenience.”
Access to and from the airport and to various parts of the city was excellent. There's also a Divvy station nearby. However, trains run right next to the hotel and make quite a bit of noise around the clock, so if you're sensitive to sound you should either avoid this hotel or bring earplugs. Rooms on the opposite side of the hallway may be quieter, but it's about a 50/50 chance. The facilities are old but clean. The listing said there would be a refrigerator and microwave, but neither was present, which was inconvenient. This is especially important to note if you're visiting in the summer. Given current U.S. prices, I think it's inexpensive. I would recommend it to people who are OK with the issues mentioned above.
