“Excellent service with excellent view!”
Liked: We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The atmosphere is classy and elegant, with beautifully designed rooms and breathtaking views that make the experience truly memorable. A special mention to Mr. Ilgaz, who gave us an excellent welcome and went above and beyond to make our special occasion feel truly special. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made a real difference. The à la carte breakfast is also very good, with a nice selection and quality dishes. Overall, a beautiful hotel with exceptional service and a memorable experience. We would be delighted to return.
Disliked: The terrace of the maisonnettes shares the same space with the restaurant, and the live music can continue a little late into the evening. It didn’t bother us during our stay, but it’s worth mentioning as it could be a consideration for guests who prefer a quieter atmosphere at night.

“Excellent, expensive, but you get what you pay for and more”
Liked: Sumahan has been upgraded since we last stayed there 3 years ago and before back in 2013. It was always good but now is exceptional. Few places anywhere can match the experience of sitting on the edge of the Bosphorus with the city and bridge as the background and large ships providing constant movement along with ferries and other motor yachts wizzing up and down.
Disliked: Some very minor grievances advised to the staff, like having to disconnect the telephone to connect the Nespresso machine, and other tiny niggles that are easy for them to correct.

“Tümü ile mükemmel bir otel”
Merhaba, İstanbul’da güzel bir haftasonu planı yapalım derken eşim Instagram vasıtası ile reklamını gördüğü Vakko Sumahan otelini deneyimleme imkanı bulduk. Kapı girişinden başlayan Resepsiyonist Emre bey ile devam eden otel, imkanlar ve oda sunumları harikaydı. Gerek boğazı tekneleri ile sizi karşıya geçirmeleri gerekse Kapı önünde duran VIP araçları ile sizi istediğiniz adrese bırakmaları ise ayrıca şahane bir hizmetti. İtalyan şefin hazırladığı eşsiz lezzetleri ise anlatmaya gerek yok bence. Aynı şekilde sabah kahvaltısı da harikaydı. Personelin profesyonelliği ise size unutulmayacak anılar yaşatmanıza yardımcı olmuşlardır. Tabiri caizse girişinden çıkışına kadar yaşatılan anlar ve insanın kendisini çok özel hissetmesi, şımartılması 57 yaşında olmama rağmen bugüne kadar başka lüks otellerde göremediğim ilgi alaka için kurumunuza ve personelinize çok teşekkür ederim. Umarım en yakın zamanda tekrar görüşürüz.

“Exceptional”
Liked: Nice view to Bosphorus. Silence and peaceful place service also great. Good experience. One of the reception staff Mohamad Emin young gentleman he helped us a lot. He spoke Arabic with us and when he around it was easy to communicate thanks to him and to hospitality of hotel.
