“Old San Juan is like stepping back in time!”

Liked: We visited local the bakery and diner for breakfast, then walked all over Old San Juan for the day. A perfectly walkable City! Stunning! We were right between the two huge historic forts, and enjoyed every minute. Be aware that walking involved significant uphill climbs, but the downhill hike is great!

“Cute, decent enough”

Liked: Cute, old colonial style. Great location in Old Town. The rooftop seemed pretty cool but I only went up to have a look. Ice machine and water on site. Just around the corner is a great spot to catch the sunset!

Disliked: My room didn’t have any windows.

“Unique historic inn offers a great location in the heart of Old San Juan.”

Liked: The location couldn’t be beat for exploring Old San Juan, and the building was charming and historic. Artwork was unique and interesting. The architectural details were outstanding - the ceiling in our room was taller than the room was wide, and featured open wood beams and a beautiful crystal chandelier. In-room coffee maker provided us with a big mug of tasty coffee. Roof-top deck had a hot tub, lots of seating and what appeared to be functional claw-foot bathtubs.

Disliked: There was no staff after 4:00pm but they were helpful while there. Though bed linens were good, our bed could have been more comfortable.

Liked: Vila Herencia is a wonderful place to stay in Old San Juan. It is very close to everything, but with the advantage of Being located on a quiet side street. No bars, no loud partying. This little hotel has so much authentic charm!
