Liked: Very well equipped room, high Quality furnished, heaps of plugs to charge mobile devices. Adjustable lights in entrance area as well as sleeping area create a very comfortable, cosy atmosphere. Fantastic views on higher levels of hotel.

Disliked: Quality of breakfast in relation to price. Breakfast Area at weekends crowded.

Liked: We really loved the hotel. Everything was very clean, modern, and beautiful. Our room was gorgeous and spotless, and we had a beautiful view from the window. We also really liked the location — it was conveniently situated between Central Park and the Brooklyn Bridge, so we were able to walk to many places. Overall, everything was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay and loved how clean, new, and comfortable everything was.

Disliked: I really didn’t like the staff. I honestly haven’t experienced anything like this in the U.S. before. People here are usually very kind, friendly, and welcoming, but when I walked into the hotel, no one even greeted me. It honestly felt like they were doing me a favor by letting me stay there for free, as if I had asked to stay there without paying. And it wasn’t just on the day we checked in — it was like this during all three days of our stay. No one said hello when we came downstairs, no one wished us a good day, nothing. I found it quite rude, especially for the U.S., where people are usually so warm and friendly. The whole attitude just felt very strange and unpleasant.

Liked: The view, accessibility, restaurants and elegant services.

Disliked: I liked it all.

Liked: The hotel is in a great location in midtown- easy walk from Penn Station and either airport. We stayed in a suite and had an amazing view of the Empire State Building! The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed having double closets. For NYC it was a large room and well laid out. Keanu at the front desk was especially helpful in arranging our upgrade and making sure we had a fabulous stay- thank you!

Liked: Hidden gem. Great location and views, efficiently laid out rooms, great breakfast, staff were super on front desk - shout out to Darnell and Adonis who made our days brighter.

Disliked: Lift system was insane at times. Some better cleaning in-room; marble surfaces and bathroom A heated pool

Disliked: Service poor. Elevator bizarre. No attention to maintenance of the rooms. Things broken and missing. Promise a lot and don’t deliver. No bell service arriving or leaving.No concierge. Pool chairs only available for food and beverage minimum, not free for hotel guests. Steam and sauna access requires $50 day use charge. Clueless as to what such a high room cost should include.

Liked: The hotel staff is incredibly welcoming, responsive, and quick to help with anything we needed. They even surprised us with a voucher to use at the hotel to celebrate our honeymoon, which was such a thoughtful touch. The location is absolutely perfect for sightseeing—right in the heart of the city, surrounded by excellent dining options (cecconi, kazunori, etc.) and conveniently close to the metro. On top of that, our room was beautifully decorated and had a fantastic view. Highly recommend!

Disliked: Just a heads up that peak season holidays means a slight wait for the elevators

Liked: We had a lovely stay at Virgin Hotels New York. We really enjoyed the modern design, great atmosphere and especially our room with a beautiful view. Everything was comfortable and pleasant, and we would definitely stay here again.

Disliked: The elevators were quite slow on our last day, but otherwise everything was great and we would happily stay here again.
