Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino Mactan

The Hotel hit a ice berg and almost..sank.. But I help save it.. Its true..big storm of rain flooded the lobby.. I helped to.. Great time I had.

Perfect place to unwind after a 13 hour flight. They are doing construction and the boiler wasnt qorking so we didnt have hot water in our shower but we managed. Staff very frienddly

Great location and a feeling of old world charm. Not the newest or most modern jotel but it's a comfortable and has a certain elegance about it. Pool area is awesome and all the food and drinks have been outstanding. Gym needs a majored update.

Very near sa airport 2-3mins walk only

Convenient to the airport and the hotel has the most helpful and friendly staff. Exceptional food.

I booked this hotel despite the high cost because of the convenient location. The hotel itself was nice and the room was clean. However, upon arrival I tried to take a shower and noticed that there was no hot water. I tried to call the front desk, but the room phone wasn't working (they did eventually fix it). When I went downstairs, I was told that the boiler wasn't working and they would inform me when it was fixed. After an hour or so, I went back downstairs, and asked again about when they thought the hot water would be on. They pointed to a sign at the front desk informing guests about the boiler problem (which I had not previously seen). They told me that it had not been working for several days and they had no idea when it would be fixed. At that point, I left and booked another hotel. I am trying to get a refund for the night, but Agoda has let me know that they are unable to get approval from the hotel for a refund. I think that given this problem had persisted for several days, I should have been notified in advance and given the opportunity to cancel as a hot shower should be a basic amenity provided. I would not stay in this hotel again - there are many others in the area with free airport shuttles and much lower prices.

Liked: None

Disliked: Needs renovation, specially bathrooms.

0 Stars – Very Disappointing Experience The air conditioning was extremely poor, the bathtub was clogged, and the showerhead was malfunctioning. To make matters worse, the staff were not accommodating at all and showed little willingness to address these issues. The overall experience was frustrating and far below expectations. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.
