“shared bathroom is a nightmare”

Disliked: my room which had a paper thin door was literally right outside the kitchen / breakfast / lounge area

“A wonderful surprise.”
Liked: When we arrived, we were met with Peter. He took the time to give us a tour. He showed us the house the rooms and gardens. We also got to see the venue. Any parent of DU student, looking for small venue for graduation or beautiful wedding should definitely check this place out. Peter took time from his schedule and day to make us comfortable. The property is beautiful. Our room was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the soothing sounds of rain while sleeping.The grounds were beautiful with several balconies with comfortable seating and relaxing views of the yard. We enjoyed a glass of wine from the upper balcony and it was lovely as we watched the birds. It was an overall pleasant stay but what made this an amazing stay and experience was Karen. Karen was beyond amazing. She went above and beyond, making our stay perfect. The breakfast was delicious. The warm crumb cake and croissant s were so good. The coffee was perfect. At one point during our stay I felt unwell. Karen reached out to me asking if there was anything she could get me. This text made my day. She cared about a perfect stranger. Also after checking out and arriving home I realized I forgot my shoes. I text her and she offered to ship them to me. She was so professional and kind. I will definitely be back

“Beautiful and Peaceful location”
Liked: Karin greeted us upon our arrival. She made us feel welcomed and provided a tour of the property. Karin spent time chatting and letting us know of places to go and see in the area. The stay was very relaxing and we have already booked another stay later this year.

“Exceptional”

“A charming place”
Liked: This is a charming place! I understand they also do spa days and events, but it was quiet while I was there. My room was very comfortable and the host helped me check in over the phone when I arrived early. There is also a comfortable common area and a nook where a light breakfast is available.
Disliked: I didn't notice when I made the reservation that the bathroom is shared. It turned out not to be an issue for me, since no one else was staying in the same part of the house and I had it to myself, but it's something visitors should be aware of.

“Worth It, we will be back!”
Liked: It was immaculate, clean, quiet and so peaceful! The rooms and bathrooms were beyond clean. The manager was so pleasant and was very responsive to any questions and needs we had.
Disliked: The steps, though they had grips on each of them, I was cautious using them so I wouldn’t slip and fall because you have to take your shoes off once inside.
