“A fantastic journey here.”

Liked: Breakfast is fancy, much more choices, waiters and waitress are warm hearted. Hotel located near by the sea, only 20 meters. Room is clean, quiet; decoration is a little bit old. Swimming pool on roof is clean. Restarant nearby is quiet good. Travel by taxi or Uber is easy. Wifi is fast.

Disliked: The front door at the main hall should be updated as it makes sound when opening.

Disliked: Highly not recommended I booked a Superior Twin Room for two guests, which was clearly stated on Booking.com. Upon arrival, the reception told us this room could only accommodate one person, and an extra fee would be charged for the second guest. The hotel blamed Booking for the incorrect information and refused to honour our confirmed booking. Moreover, the room was advertised as sea‑view, while we only got a partial, side glimpse of the water from the window. The description is misleading. Terrible experience, avoid this property.

“Acceptable”

Liked: Breakfast was good, almost contain everything. Air-con was working properly. Location is very good.

Disliked: The reception is super slow and unfriendly. Check-in took almost 20 mins per person and they gave me a room which someone was already in. Also, the room key must be renewed everyday.

“Outdated”

The hotel is nice, but outdated for the price. The breakfast is the best part. Located far from most attractions, the good part about the location is that it feels safe around the hotel. We left something at the hotel and communication was hard and confusing in order to recover the item, but they did had it and eventually I was able to recover it. They also only allow up to 3 adults in the rooms, instead of 4.

Liked: For a large hotel the cleanliness was outstanding and the staff were great. The breakfast was amazing with such a large choice.

Disliked: My only niggle was the WiFi in my room was pretty poor barely working so was forced to switch to mobile data.

“Not worse the money”

The Windsor Barra is a decent hotel, but for business travel not recommended. There are too many families with children, the facilities and rooms are worn down, the service is not great. The one restaurant for breakfast/lunch/dinner has the charme and the noise level of a school dining hall. The pool is tiny and nothing what it looks like on the pictures. However it is situated somewhat convenient with a beach across the street.
