Liked: The view the host the sounds of nature. It was just all perfect. The beautiful tropical birds landing on the balcony

Liked: The room is very good quailty and both the room and the terrace are quite large. The beds are very comfortable. It was good to sit out on the terrace and relax on a rainy day since it is protected. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: We were under the impression that this is a kind of hotel with different larger rooms/bungalows, based on the pictures. The property is run more like a homestay so we were offered breakfast in the host's home which was friendly gesture but we would have preferred to keep to ourselves. The property is a bit far from "downtown" Ella, down in the valley, so need to take a car or tuktuk to get to the restaurants and shops.

Liked: This was my family’s favorite place in Sri Lanka.

Disliked: Great hosts! The property is amazing. You are in the woods.

Disliked: Bugs And wish the bathroom shower had a door

Magnifique chambre au milieu de la forêt. La vue est à couper le souffle. Nous avons été extrêmement bien reçu par la famille, qui était au petits soins. Le petit-déjeuner, pris face à la vue, était délicieux. L’hôtel s’est également chargé de nous emmener en tuktuk au Little Adam’s Peak. Très pratique!

Liked: Most beautiful place in the forest.

Disliked: It is a way from city center and many steep stairs to the room

Liked: The view from the room is one of a kind. Never seen something like it. U feel in the center of the jungle.

Disliked: 1. Way too many steep stairs. About 30 of them! 2. Staff is limited only to two people (mother and son) - very friendly but not great with english. Difficult to reach sometimes given they live on top of the 30 stairs and u r at the bottom. Whatsapp only way of communication. If internet is not working like our first night then u cant reach them. 3. Bugs! Huge issue given room is open from some areas so constantly bugs fly in. Need to always sleep woth mosquito net which is provided. 4. No food options available except breakfast. Breakfast cooked is also very sub standard. We barely ate there but felt bad for the mother who had cooked it. No professional chef! 5. Shower problems!! Either water is very hot or very cold. They do not have a mixer in their plumbing so taking a shower is very difficult especially for kids.
