“Nothing worked!!”
2 out of 3 Elevators not working 1 that was working was super slow and useless. Pool and spa was closed. Staff had no personal skills. This is a horrible choice.

“Unreliable reviews = wrong choice”
Reviews on this hotel are very inaccurate! This hotel is run down all over. The carpets are dirty, stained and run down. The doors (many!!) are scratched and the handle on ours was dangling. Didn’t feel too safe! Two of the three elevators were out of order and the one had a very sticky residue on it. And there was no hot water…in Ohio in October??? Everything was closed for maintenance; the kitchen, exercise room and swimming pool. They should’ve used that money to replace carpeting, doors, paint the walls AND fix the elevators. This place is far from being a hotel. It’s at the “motel” level or I would dare to say that the dorms at OSU look better than this. Can’t trust reviews. I learned my lesson…there aren’t inexpensive hotels. The so call “special rates or lower rates” are just run down hotels/motels! Do not recommend and will never return to any Whyndham “motel”. Never! The lobby was decent, it smelled like they used a concentrated cleaner for restrooms. The front clerk, not impressed. Just did his job. I guess you get what you paid for. Again; Lesson learned!

“Do not stay at this Wyndham”
Horrible experience! From only 1 employee working Front Desk at 4pm on a Friday so check is was slow. 2/3 elevators were not working and rooms assigned were on 5th floor. Pool, Spa and Restaurant were all closed so amenities listed not available. Room doors scratched and warped so did not close properly. No hot water in sink or showers. Sink faucet dripped. Toilets did not flush. A/C not able to be regulated and sounded like a jet plane landing. Unidentifiable marks on walls by beds. Furniture scuffed and warped so drawers and doors do not close. Ceilings cracked and paint peeling. Phone calls to Guest Relations were not answered so unable to report concerns. Do not advertise amenities or services that are not provided to Guests.

“Acceptable”
Liked: Most of the room was nice, the bathroom needed some work
Disliked: Only one elevator works out of 3, hallway carpets were stained, no breakfast since kitchen was being repaired, pool and hot tub had no heat

Disliked: Had no breakfast when we stayed, just yucky coffee, water in plastic container looked like it had been there a while,renovations going on but didn't find out til we arrived. Not happy about 100 dollar deposit 😒 found that out as well when at check in
