Liked: It was very close to the beach, property was clean tidy and has all essentials.

Disliked: The scaffolding, lift, water pressure

Liked: It had a nice view and private balcony

Disliked: You could hear everything from your neighbors when they stumbled in in the shared kitchen in the middle of the night which woke us up multiple times. The room was really tiny- the bathroom was tiny and the toilet was missing a seat. The whole contiditon of the room was overall really dissapointing and bad.

Review The most difficult part of our stay was collecting the keys. They had to be picked up at a different location, more than 2.5 km from the apartment, and we were not informed about this in advance. We only discovered it through ChatGPT, which pointed out that the key collection address was different from the apartment address. Having to deal with this “quest” at 9:30 p.m., after travelling, was extremely inconvenient and exhausting. The apartment itself is quite worn, the building is under renovation, and the online photos are outdated. The freezer was heavily iced, the kitchenware was old and scratched, and only two pots worked with the induction hob. Even basic items such as a corkscrew were missing. The location and air conditioning are the only real advantages. Overall, the many small issues significantly affected our stay.

Liked: the view

Disliked: dilapidated building in scaffolding (also on terrace), room on 3rd floor (stairs or scary tiny elevator), shared facilities, almost no water in mostly only cold shower, hard and creaky mattress, keys pickup and drop-off 3km away.

Liked: I liked that it was in the front row and close to the beach. The bus stop was right in front of the building. It was clean and sufficient for a young couple who would mostly eat out.

Disliked: I didn't like that the kitchen was shared and the dining area inside was cramped, or the fact that you had to go to a different location—the office—to pick up and drop off the key.

Liked: Comfortable bed.

Disliked: The “beachfront” is in renovation. We had scaffolding on the balcony and in front of the window. This should be done in the winter, not during the summer season, charging full price for beachfront. Used furniture in Gold room. Extremely bad water pressure and temperature in the shower.

Liked: The bed sheets smelled clean.

Disliked: The building is under heavy renovation, in bad state, covered in scafold. Room not cleaned. skirting boards mouldy and worn down. Air-con not working. electric blinds not closing 100%. outdoor Furniture broken. no water kettle. there was beginning green algae in the bottom of the water dispenser, on the Nescafe machine. We were there for a sports event, so did not have time to sort other accommedation. - There is a city tax you pay separate, directly to the company (normal in Italy) but they did not send it before was boarding the flight to go there. I barely managed to pay it online before my flight took off. but since I was arriving late and out of hours, that just added unnecessary pressure. though I would not recommend, I will end on a positive note, that the person I communicated with was polite and and responded reasonably quick to WhatsApp messages. However I will not be using Ostia Holiday sunset again, though I go to Ostia 3-4 times a year.

Liked: Not much!

Disliked: We paid extra for a sea view and was ruined because of scaffolding at front of building cover the balcony!
