Wyndham Residences Piraeus Marina Zeas

Liked: Sehr moderne, saubere und gut ausgestattete Zimmer mit allem was man braucht. Besonders die Betten sind super bequem. Atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Marina.

Liked: Very nice location with restaurant and a few supermarkets close by. The rooms and the building are very recently renovated and clean. The room is comfortable (the bed slightly firm, but still fine). The amenities of the room are good and generally everything is as described. The hotel hosts were friendly and helpful and the hotel was quiet. The view from the shared spaces was very nice, looking in to the Pasalimani port.

Disliked: The rooms is cleaned too intensively, to such an extent that there was a very strong cleaning product smell. We had to keep the windows open constantly, and after leaving our clothes had absorbed and were still giving off the smell. Otherwise, minor nags, which however are NOT justifiable at this price range: the coffee/tea platform has two devices with power plugs (a water kettle and a coffee machine) but the wall plug has only one power socket. The room has good opaque window shutters but the microwave produces a huge amount of light during the night. The check-in is purportedly via automated kiosk, but you need to manually type in all the - significant - personal details for both guests manually on the touch screen and even worse the kiosk advertises checkout, but it does not actually work, so one is forced to wait for the receptionist who is not always there in order to checkout. The only elevator is too small and is also shared by the maintenance staff resulting in significant waits going up and down at peak hours. Overall, it is clear whoever designed this experience has not tried it out themselves, but has potential.

Liked: The property is in an excellent location with beautiful views and many nearby shopping areas. The metro is a short 10 min walk away from the hotel if one wants to head to Athens city center.

Disliked: Nothing! It was all wonderful!
