“The view from the rooftop is fantastic.”

They provide a route from the station to the hotel that avoids stairs—a very thoughtful touch. However, sharing a room with others can be a bit of a gamble since roommates are assigned randomly, and some people may not be particularly friendly, but it still doesn't detract from the clean environment, the friendly front desk staff, or the perfect rooftop area, which offers direct views of the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House!

“Very good”

I thought I had booked a private room, but at check-in I was told I’d been assigned a six-person dorm. That was impossible for me, so they quickly moved me to private rooms for both nights. It ended up costing more than three times what I’d originally paid, but the staff were very considerate and helpful. They offered several options — look for another hotel, stay just for tonight and cancel tomorrow, etc. The price was high, but they turned an otherwise anxiety-filled trip abroad into something I could feel safe about.

“The best value for a view of the opera house.”

When I visited there was no cruise ship in front, so I was able to enjoy a great night view from the rooftop. The staff at the rooftop bar were also very friendly. However, I had booked a room with an Opera House view, but the room I actually got had less than half the view visible because of a chimney on the building in front, which was disappointing.

“Absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended.”

Liked: Super location for going out and exploring.

Disliked: Didn’t bother us but for some the stairs may be tricky getting from the harbour to the building.

Liked: The best location and best view of the opera house. The roof top is truly exceptional and a great place to hang out! I loved my time here. Huge and spacious room, large lockers, and great kitchen!
