About this activity

This activity is an immersive storytelling experiences about legends, mythology, dark medieval history, tales and folklore. The tour is more ideal for adults and youth. If you wish to bring your children, they can go for free (up to 6 years old).

Pickup & meeting point
There is no pickup — all travellers meet at the start point.
Zero Kilometre Stone in Clark Adam Square. Buda side of the Chain Bridge, at the bottom of the castle hill. Alternatively, if you wish you can meet the group at the top, at the "Fountain of the Fishing Children", situated next to big bird statue Turul.
Then the tour guide can escort you back to the starting point.
Redemption
The tour starts from the meeting point at the Kilometre Zero Stone which is located at the bottom of the Buda castle hill, by the funicular entrance (Clark Adam Square), a few meters away from the Chain Bridge (Buda side). Temporary Route Update Due to a temporary route change, the tour currently uses the castle steps instead of the original sloped pathway to reach the top. If you prefer not to walk uphill, you might consider to meet the group up in the castle at the Fountain of the Fishing Children, located just a few metres from the Turul Statue (A big bird). Please note that the group makes its first stop halfway up the hill for the opening story and typically reaches the top 18–25 minutes (depending on the walking pace of the group) after the tour begins. If you choose to meet the group at the top, you will miss this first story. However, our guides will be happy to recount the missed information between the following stops, ensuring you can continue enjoying the rest of the tour without missing any essential context. PLEASE INFORM US in advance if you meet the group at the top.
